About Black Buoy

The Black Buoy references a landmark dive bar on Sag Harbor's Main Street. It was an idyllic fishing village in The Hamptons turned weekend getaway for the affluent.

In accord with the history of the name, The Black Buoy Online Store was founded. It represents a sense of style that is classic but innovative, and informed as much by the wealthy as it is by the working.

Currently, the store serves as an exclusive retailer for two brands: Max and Suzanne and LOLA New York. It will also sell prints, art, books, and music produced by peers and collaborators.

While taking steps to open up a flagship store, they realized that they wanted more people other than just New Yorkers to have access to the brands. That's why they created Black Buoy: to reach and connect to more people on a global level, and showcase the work of their friends.

Black Buoy was envisioned to be a lifestyle reference guide.

All designers are fashion forward trendsetters in NYC, and viewers can visit Black Buoy, not only to see what's new in the life of the brands, but to be on top of current styles.
